Haven't even had time to post anything. Had a wonderful time in Scotland, enjoyed the whirlwind that was Paris and loving England even thought I am working. As the US version goes on hiatus until January 09, I just wanted to get my thoughts down on the US vs. the UK version of Life on Mars, a show that is so near and dear to my heart. So...my two cents worth:

Okay...so in case you don't know Ashes to Ashes is the sequel to Life on Mars. I'm talking UK here not US (the US version is good in it's own way but the UK version simply kicks its arse). Again, Ashes to Ashes takes place in 1981. Same cast sans John Simm (the amazing John Simm) but we still have (the equally amazing) Philip Glenister as the Gene ( Read more... )
